1time Flight Engine Failure Investigated

Authorities are investigating the cause of the engine failure which caused a 1time flight which had departed from King Shaka International Airport in Durban, to have an emergency landing on Sunday, 5 August 2012.

The flight was bound for Cape Town, and a number of passengers experienced delays when the flight turned back soon after takeoff. 

What is known at this stage is that one of the aircraft's two engines was damaged, and there was debris on the runway from the damaged engine. The runway had to be cleared, causing a number of other flights to be delayed.
