Kenya Airways

Kenya Airways is the national airline of Kenya, and is based in Nairobi, Kenya's capital city.

The airline is highly successful, and while it was previously wholly owned by the Kenyan government, it has been privatized for almost two decades, but the government remains one of its main shareholders. KLM, the national airline of the Netherlands, is also a shareholder.

Kenya Airways is part of the SkyTeam alliance, giving it greater reach to a number of international destinations, including destinations in Europe and Asia.

Msafiri is Kenya Airways' frequent flyer programme, and it is linked to KLM's Flying Dutchman programme.

With its main headquarters at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the carrier offers travellers relatively affordable access to domestic and international air travel, and has become one of the leading airlines in Southern Africa.

Travellers have the option to fly economy class or business class, and business class passengers are able to make use of the comfortable and luxurious Simba Lounge at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
